I post about my daily life, but often look into my past. My journal is very focused around my own thoughts and life experiences.

My hobbies are:

I have experienced many hobbies over the years. Many have gone over time. Writing would be one that has stayed with me, or the need to write. I hope I can fall in love with some lost hobbies like reading books or writing letters. It has been a while since I did those two things and I miss them.

My fandoms are:

I don't have any fandoms and won't be writing about such things I think. I'm not so familiar with fandoms in general.

I'm looking to meet people who:

I would prefer to meet people who are kind and gentle to others since I feel I am similar. I am not a fan of aggression or hurting others. I am older but I have never been married or had children. As a result I feel I am still quite young in spirit. I am grateful to share my life with friends of a wide range in ages from 22-75. I don't discriminate by age or any other means.

My posting schedule tends to be: daily/weekly/monthly/sporadic/etc

I tend to post each morning, maybe once again during the evening. I really enjoy reading about the lives of others I follow on here. I also enjoy commenting and the back and forth conversations that take place so often.

Other than that I have no posting schedule. I have been writing in journals or diaries all my life since I was a child. For me writing is a process I feel I must go through. Thoughts tend to build up in my mind and I feel a need to get them out onto paper or on here. This helps me get on with my day. If I don't deal with my thoughts they tend to stress me out a lot. This is why I write, so if I am experiencing more thoughts I may post more often.

When I add people, my dealbreakers are:

I really prefer to share my life with others who are kind and caring. I don't like to get involved in arguments or hurting others. I care about the LGBTQ+ community a great deal. The more different someone is I tend to feel they are more interesting and worth getting to know. I prefer to keep politics out of my journal and life if possible.

Before adding me, you should know:

I guess you should know I am older, late 50s which I have said already. I know for some people this could be a dealbreaker. I would welcome anyone to give me a chance. I don't feel I fit into any age group. I mostly treasure friendship and communication. It would be nice to get back into writing letters also. It has been so long since I wrote to any penpals. I did years ago on LJ but it became a bit overwhelming. I think I took on too many penpals at once.

If anyone is interested in writing I might like to try to exchange letters, but start out small. I know that takes time and trust so I don't really expect it to happen right away. I have a lot of stationery left over from years ago just sitting here. It would be nice to use it again at some point.

I only have 10 or so posts right now. I recently downloaded and saved my previous posts. I tend to do this once a month. I usually will make those posts private but I deleted them this time so also lost the comments. I will make them private each month in the future. I am still active on here daily. In August last year, Ashleigh Ball was diagnosed with stage four triple negative breast cancer. That means the cancer has metastasized, it has spread beyond the primary site to one or more areas of the body. Ashleigh disclosed her diagnosis on Instagram less than a week ago.
